PRAYER FACILITIES
Hokkaido
prefecture offers many beautiful places for tourism. Toya Caldera and Usu
volcano in Muroran are two of them. Muroran regional development office
realizes that the amount of tourist from Moslem countries who visit Japan will
increase in the future. Therefore it is important to provide prayer facilities.
In Roadside station “forest 276 Otaki” one facility was built. This place likes a rest area for travelers that
will visit Toya Caldera and Usu Volcano or long distance trip. Around 30 people
from Sapporo Moslem community was requested to assess how the facilities that
already established. Halal food is also could be found here. It was very
incredible experience.
